Co-ordinated Secondary School Admission consultation The present school allocation process means some parents are unable to secure a place for their child at any of their preferred schools while some are offered places at multiple schools. The council is now proposing to introduce a co-ordinated process similar to the one introduced in England in 2007 for admission to Year 7 in 2018, 2019 and 2020 which would be a fairer and more effective system, providing more parents with a single school place offer for their child.
